Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026
This policy describes what information NovelPACS collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short enough to actually read. The data controller is NovelPACS AI Technology Limited, registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
What we collect, and why
Contact enquiries. When you submit the contact form, we receive the details you enter — name, email address, and optionally phone number, organization, job title and your message. We use them solely to respond to your enquiry.
Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and where on the site you subscribed from. We use it to send the newsletter and for nothing else. You can ask to be removed at any time via the contact page, and any mailing we send includes the same option.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard web-server information — IP address, requested page, browser type, timestamp — used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. We run no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics on this site.
Administrative accounts. Accounts exist only for NovelPACS staff who manage content. Visitors cannot create accounts, and we hold no visitor profiles.
Where your data is processed
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run this site, each processing data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting and delivery), Neon (database, hosted in the United States), Cloudflare (storage and delivery of uploaded images), and GitHub (operational automation). Editorial drafts for our blog are prepared with the assistance of large-language-model APIs; no visitor data is ever sent to them — they receive only public industry news material.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
- We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.
- We do not use your contact details for anything beyond the purpose you gave them for.
Retention
Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable record-keeping period afterwards. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Technical logs are retained on our providers' standard short-term schedules.
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), these rights are backed by law, and you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Links to other publishers
Our news section links to articles from external publishers, and every item names its source. Once you follow a link, that publisher's own privacy practices apply.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A material change to what we collect would be announced on the site, not slipped in quietly.
